For this weeks DIY I came across this wonderful idea on Pinterest and fell in love with it instantly. Take a treasured handwritten note from a family member or a dear friend. You could also use your old grandmothers handwritten recipie and hang it in your kitchen. Go to a print shop and have them blow it up to a poster size of your choice.

DIY OF THE WEEK
Summer is nearing its end and fall is just around the corner. I wish I could spend the last days of summer sun in this dream - it's a trampoline that has been re-used in an absolute genius way! Tell me you aren't tempted to go and turn that ugly trampoline in your garden that the kids don't use often enough and make it into this!

We are excited to announce that every week we will now feature a DIY project for your inspiration. We think that what brings a home together and makes it personal are little personal touches. It can be fun, stylish anyhting you want and anything you are in the mood for. Why should it only be kids that make crafts and are playful. Stay tuned on our blog every week for a new DIY idea.
Here is the first:
Look at this great DIY chalkboard serving platter. Don't we all have a Serving platter in our kitchen cupboard that we could do this with. See full instructions on Wit & Whistle's blog
